actually i think part of it is because it feels like they’re milking them dry with multiple (nonsense) projects and fans are just happy with it

the relationship between the mc and ml isn’t bad and it can actually be really cute at times but honestly the execution and pacing is poor. i want to drop it but i’m almost nearing the end and it feels like a waste to stop here…

it basically glossed over the process of mc and sometimes does flashbacks to when mc was still playing villain with the ml. it was odd to me but i kept reading anyway because i thought i’d find the spark for it later on (happens a lot). it’s been 150 chapters and i’m honestly getting bored…

i don’t know what i expected but it really does focus on that military aspect a lot and it’s on me for picking the novel up then lowkey feeling uncomfortable by it LOL. in any case the real playing villain lasted like two or three chapters of the beginning… i thought it’d be like SVSSS but nope

i’ve read a couple of indonesian BL novels on sites like wattpad (i don’t know where else indonesian writers would upload their BL) and most of them were very intriguing and genuinely well written, it’s so sad that they can’t get the recognition they deserve because the country won’t allow it
