Yesterday's Mardi Gras parade was just what our community needed. Still surrounded by so much destruction from Hurricane Helene, we rose to the occasion. We turned our Hi-Jet into the Krewe Vortex float and danced in the streets!

My passport is very expired. Went in to my local post office and was told there is a month+ waitlist, so I made the appointment. Step .5, I guess. Just hope the post office is still available by then 🤷
