Finally got around to reading the @ecmyers.com RWBY novels and Roman Holiday is now my holy text. While it's mainly because I'm such a Neo simp, the way it gives these intricate backgrounds to the more obscure characters in the series like Junior and the Malachite twins makes me appreciate the story

I had a feeling that Dick Chaney's death was a sign, and I was right.

Xbox is increasing the price of Gamepass by 50%.
Playstation is still hellbent on chasing that live service golden goose after Condord.
Nintendo is re-releasing the Virtual Boy.
I guess we can safely say the console wars are over since you lose no matter what side you pick.

Going to see the Demon Slayer movie tonight. Spent the weekend and much of my free time over the last two days binging so that I'd be all caught up and I could catch it while it's still in theaters.

So just had a thought...
The original after credits scene for RWBY V9 was promotion for the Justice Leauge crossover movie. That can't fly anymore due to timing and licensing. So what if the first animation of RWBY under VIZ ownership is the original V9 episode 11 animatic fully realized?

Been watching Demon Slayer. Pretty damn good show, but the memes about the tragic demon backstories were underselling it. The episode where they revealed the tragic origin of that one demon was that no one liked his writing had me laughing for a few seconds.

Remember when RWBY released official body pillows but only of the ageless beings of Salem, Jinn and Ambrosius?

So hear me out...

God of Light and Darkness body pillows with their humanoid forms on one side and their dragon forms on the other. #RWBY

That video of Trump angrily responding to an Epstein question is genuinely one of the guiltiest looking videos I've ever seen. With the absence of a convenient Democratic or media boogeyman he's forced to resort to complaining about timing and it looks so damn incriminating.

If this day didn't convince them to ditch those stupid red caps, they are officially lost causes and should be publicly pelted with insults and disdain for the foreseeable future.

In a day and age where countless projects get either cancelled or shelved due to corporate bullshit, it is great to see RWBY continue seemingly out of sheer spite.

Was trying to think of some quip but it's just getting harder to live through all this.

Hundred Line Last Defense Academy has consumed my life. I know these characters and their backstories better than I know my own nieces and nephews. I replay specific timelines just to hear my favorite lines of dialogue. I am in too deep.

I really want to tackle Ultra Despair Girls, but Hundred Line is really tempting me. I'm trepidatious because I know that it's the kind of game that will have me by the throat and not let go.

I've been replaying the Danganronpa titles since it's been a while and it's wild how each third trial is carried by the blackened breakdown. Like clockwork, what is the weakest trial in the game produces some of the best artwork and vocal performances.

Incredibly wild how Nintendo had the next console generation basically gift wrapped for them after Microsoft and Sony's multiple fumbles and had and incredible lineup for their Direct, only to kill the hype with the $90 physical pricing. Really snatching defeat from the jaws of victory here.

Twelve sitting members of the president's administration were caught discussing was plans on a group chat app because they accidently invited a reporter and the head of the Government efficiency department is getting ratioed by Ubisoft. Nothing better exemplifies the spectrum of incompetence.

Ben Garrison is gonna have a hell of time making a buff Trump cartoon about this one.
American war planning usually takes place in highly secure facilities. But the Trump administration planned its strikes on the Houthis using a group chat—and accidentally included The Atlantic’s editor in chief, @jeffreygoldberg.bsky.social. theatln.tc/AmsjsuT6

The Trump/Zelensky meeting has that energy of when you're a kid in school and you punch another kid who's bullying you, and the teachers get on your case for getting violent.

At some point in time, the toys in Toy Story saw Andy naked. A truly horrifying thought.

I know I gush about it so freaking often, but I really do love the block feature on bluesky. This is the pinnacle of content moderation and should be the gold standard for any social media platform.

The very first video from the new RoosterTeeth era has to be all the old talents audition clips. Just a montage of former employees opting for positions while Burnie oversees it all.
