Too many LGBTQ “community” spaces are stuck in a cis/white-centered Daughters of Bilitis time warp but try to claim they’re channeling the Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries. Toss in some buzz about business sustainability and you’ve got a real issue with exclusionary practices.

This is horrifying story about how Florida is attempting to detransition trans prisoners calling their identity a delusion.
The FL Department of Corrections is attempting to "reverse" the gender identity of transgender people in its custody, referring to trans identities as "short-term delusions" and withholding hormone therapy. Reviving psychiatric theories of the 1950s, they blame trans identities on "childhood trauma"

"When you're 1% of the population, it's very hard to see how the democratic process will protect you" was quite a statement at the court after the TN attorney argued that the equal protection should be declined in favor of “the democratic process.”
