There are no guarantees ever. Where's the guarantee that Carrick isn't Europe's next great manager? If he pushes us towards success why dump him?

Can't even tell you how fun it was watching this live on TV haha ⚽❄️

Our transfer window added some important pieces but it's like putting nice rims on your car before you sort out the engine. You're a nice looking car on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck.

Yessss. Still believe without Ronaldo returning and screwing things up Ole had us moving in the right direction under very difficult circumstances.

I may be wrong, but to me we have gone as our midfield goes. Look at who we have this year. A guy out of position who doesn't belong there, a guy without legs whose best days are behind him, a guy who's under sized and has a limited skill set, and a kid who has flashes of brilliance but is a kid.

My answer would be not since Carrick left. It seems we have an aversion to spending big in midfield when that is the engine room of the team. As I see it our biggest problems are advancing the ball, defending transitions, and set pieces. 2/3 and arguably 3/3 are solved by proper midfielders.

Ya I don't know what the answer is. I'm convinced UAE security forces are poisoning the water lol. Sigh...

That's fair but it's been a consistent downhill slide. I'm not seeing Amorim is the guy but I'm tired of the manager merry go round and watching crappy football. Not fun.

I'm incredibly bored of this cycle. I saw the inevitable "some players never liked the 3-4-3 from the beginning" article the other day. Same article as every manager post-Fergie. Sorry but a formation doesn't get you beat by Grimsby. Playing 11 keepers isn't an excuse to get beat by Grimsby.
