Being a survivor of human trafficking I can say that LGBTQ+ organizations are the least likely to be engaged and have conversations about how our community is disproportionately impacted. I wonder why?

#LGBTQIA+ individuals are particularly at risk of #ModernSlavery due to their marginalisation and the tragic reality of being forced from home by unaccepting family. @unitedwayworldwide.bsky.social reports that LGBTQIA+ youth are 13× more at-risk for homelessness, adding to the risk of #trafficking.
