Iconic bamboo scaffolding will be phased out soon in Hong Kong. So photos like these that I took of a skyscraper covered in the stuff will soon be resigned to history.

Where I was unfortunately the moon disappeared around totality near the horizon and close to sunrise so we didn’t get the blood moon effect however as you can see in this timelapse taken with 2 cameras simultaneously at least there was a pretty shadow transition.

I shoot many different genres commercially. Wildlife & nature is how I started & is still a big part of what I do. On this day during a real estate assignment and after a long day shooting interiors & also exteriors with my drone, I couldn’t resist getting this shot while up there.

It was all hyped up too much. Saturn was never going to be visible as too close to the horizon around sunset and several others needed telescopes to see but kind of got them all the other evening. Visible ones being Mars, Jupiter, the moon, Venus and Earth in the foreground.

Hunting the clean boot is a relatively new version of now banned fox hunting. Don’t judge a book by its cover. This adaptation preserves centuries old traditions and jobs in a nationwide industry while moving with the times. Using human runners who are chased by bloodhounds instead of foxhounds.
