First 15 minutes of the second half, D was great.
Last 5 minutes of the game D wasn't that bad, but NW scored on almost every possession. They got a big assist from the refs.

Izzo has switched up the D this year. Used to be the guards always fought through picks. Other defenders knew this, so little communication was required. Now the guards often switch, and the bigs often hedge on picks. This requires a lot of communication, guys still learning.

We are giving up 40% on 3s and allowing them to rebound almost 50% of their misses. This is an uncommon combination as you generally tradeoff 3 pt D to control your own boards.

The way they won matters. They came back from a couple deficits. They played better in the 2nd half. Guys made mistakes and shook it off. Key players made big plays when it counted. These are all good signs.

I took a look at some of the Jaxon Richardson highlights. This kid is a clone of his dad and is going to be a very good college/NBA player. He hasn't selected a school yet. Hoping he chooses #MSU.
