Hackathons allow folks to collaborate on intense projects to solve specific challenges, either within a company or open to the public. I got to help organize 3 hackathons back in Ann Arbor, learned a ton, and made some great friends and memories.

Another throwback! Worked in Jakarta (Indonesia) for an MBA emerging markets project. We did our own market research to compare with the client's results, and got to meet members from US Embassy and USAID. Built a roadmap for investment decisions, supply chain planning, and marketing plans.

Well, it's not often one gets a chance to meet and take a picture with a Nobel Peace Prize laureate. Throwback to my non-profit days when Muhammad Yunus was the guest speaker at our gala. He founded the Grameen Bank and pioneered the concepts of microcredit and microfinance.
