People who are sad about recent news can't imagine a world without those corporations

Matt Johnson adapts himself so well to tv that even a movie like BlackBerry becoming a 3-episodes miniseries feels like a big improvement to its structure rather than a detriment, an enhancement of each act, the desperate attempts to sustain itself and the defeating tone of its aftermath.

Despite being negative towards it in the other app, this new season so far is the most I have liked Stranger Things in a while. The group dynamic works better with one clear objective and the story really feels is driven towards some finality

Zootopia so boring and heterosexual it doesn’t surprise me it’s one of Celine Song's favorite movies

Less annoyed by the boring and awful politics of the Zootopia sequel than by how homogenous these movies have become nowadays.
The more they obsessed with photorealism the least animated they feel, the least coherent they are with their design, and the more obvious they are on their redundancy.

Watching Stranger Things has been a ride in that it was always terrible, but later season just become so bloated and uninteresting even when they are insidious (all the Russian/KGB subplot) it’s generally boring. At least Milius and Stallone gives you a perspective, today is all frictionless.

I legit don’t know when I made hit tweets in the other app because I silence them after it hits 50 likes. Apparently I did 3 during the week.
The people love John Ford and misinformation

Still crazy this isn’t a painting, but a frame from John Ford's The Quiet Man.

Shelby Oaks didn't even do badly.
Why is he even doing gambling ads now?

I want to talk about Bugonia in detail, but just gonna say that as an adaptation of Save The Green Planet! is atrocious, completely superficial and even more childish, despite the different approach

Train Dreams: weightless images, atrocious montage, barely anything to hold to. Read someone comparing it to Tarkovsky and is an insult to the man. A new wave of humanism created by people who never stopped working on advertisement.

After The Hunt: surprised that I liked it as much as I did. Farce so inextricably tied to the way in which we project ourselves on the discourses we engage everyday, with Belly's DP Malik Hassan Sayeed transitioning towards a drab digital look that shares some classical sensibilities nonetheless

Is it bad to say that this is how I felt about Park Chan-wook for at least the majority of watching No Other Choice?

I wish I had in my heart to write something about Shelby Oaks, but the reality is that is barely movie. Proof that the last person you should receive advice of is Mike Flanagan

Appreciate Edgar Wright for making one of the worst Stephen King adaptations I’ve ever seen. The last third and the ending specially might be the most embarrassing moment in his entire filmography

Watching bad movies always ends up with me appreciating another one more. read someone comparing the new Ramsey to Ari Aster and y'know what? Eddington deserves more love. Not to the point of calling it good, but enough to appreciate material concerns regarding its protagonist's satirical surgery
November 13, 2025 at 1:38 AM
Die, My Love was so fucking boring, god.
Can’t believe that was a new Lynne Ramsay. This material has the same juvenile and redundant form that would be easily mistaken with any mediocre horror filmmaker that came out this and last decade. Lawrence is breaking her back in something this simpleminded
