I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable.

We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina.

A vote for this bill is a mistake.

If you're one of the 40 million people with student loans, Elon Musk’s team may have gotten access to your Social Security number, income data, and personal information.

I'm leading 18 senators in an investigation into DOGE’s actions at the Department of Education.

#3 The politics. The US President is willing to lose a lot of friends abroad if he can relabel the status quo as a win; many of his supporters seem to believe that these victories are real. But they are not.
Any news outlet reporting Mexico conceded anything to Trump to get him to delay tariffs has not done its homework.
Trump boasts he got Mexico to commit to stationing 10K troops at our border. Apparently he didn't realize Mexico already has 15K troops deployed there

Important point about tariffs, via @wendyedelberg.bsky.social: They don't only raise the prices of the imported goods, but of the domestic substitutes too. www.axios.com/2025/02/04/t...

No one elected Elon Musk.

As Donald Trump allows Musk to access people’s personal information and shut down government funding, Republicans in Washington will also own the consequences.

We must do everything in our power to push back and protect people from harm.

As President Trump argues the acquisition of Greenland is key to the economic security of the U.S., he is flanked by wealthy investors who have eyed the island as a potentially lucrative venue for mining metals and minerals.
Trump Is Eyeing Greenland. His Commerce Nominee Has Financial Ties There.
Howard Lutnick, who has agreed to divest his financial interests if he is confirmed, is one of several allies of President Trump who have held or explored potential mining investments on the island.
