I recall watching this (or at least, one of these) and the camera was careful to never show a wide angle view. Later still images showed a far, far thinner crowd than what was shown on US TV.

That appears to be a photo that has slipped downward in the frame. Not the sort of thing I'd expect in a rich person's house.
What's even stranger, is that the image closest to JE (Just above the keyboard) appears to a cat.

A friend of mine designed a very, very early PBX (private phone exchange, used in large companies). It was an entire rack bay of gear. To connect to the outside world, they had to go through an AT&T interface, which was itself larger than their own product.
