Chicago Park District to loan Columbus statue to Italian American group for museum, end lawsuit

The City of Chicago, which owns the statues, will not be bringing the statues back to their former sites in Grant Park and Arrigo Park.

I’m sorry to read of Lou Nasti’s passing. I interviewed him in 2006 for my chapter on Christmas house displays for my book ‘Built with Faith’ (2015). He made Dyker Heights, Bklyn, the mecca of holiday lights.
