A raconteur nostalgic for the days of design discourse and craft. I know things are broken, but I like to believe we can have it all.
I walked into a Seattle coffee shop and heard Nickelback?

A long time ago, when I still thought in advertising, I had a similar idea to this promoting Easy Jet/Ryan Air and how accessible they made flying about Europe.

Interesting to see one-prompt capturing the essence, but the quality is about as great as Ryan Air value prop these days.

You always know when it's the weekend on @linkedin.com.

All of a sudden you're seeing posts from 2 weeks ago because everyone is in writing mode for Monday.

I kind of miss peak early 2000s when people sat outside ad agencies to get jobs.

Hard to get noticed these days, but I’m sure my language app that helps you learn by leveraging the mechanisms of strip poker is going to work at Duolingo!

Currently the AI agent I need is to block obviously fake people pretending they are recruiters and can help you with your job search on LinkedIn.

Where we at with that?

Today I create a clipping system, purely client-side for now, where if you navigating an AI chat, you could clip content and save for later.

I used Cursor to avoid the constant rewrites Claude seems to enjoy subjecting itself too.

Apple clearly doesn't sweat the small stuff anymore. This bothers me more than the Magic Mouse charging.

As kind of an arms-length AI enthusiast, I try to ground my use in the practical. As a designer, who has coded, I have a solid base to draw from and this was fun to get out of my head.

I wanted to validate collecting information from a page or future AI chat, so Claude and I dreamt this up.
