I started a poem about the importance of celebrating the small victories on the course of revolutionary change. Was hoping to add an extra verse before the new year, but this is what I've got so far:

Well, my mom's lung surgery did not get all of the cancer. She's figuring out her next steps now. Any well wishes or donations are greatly appreciated. Link below.

Really good video breakdown of the shooting of Renee Good illustrating that yes, this was cold blooded murder by an ICE agent.

An analysis of footage from three camera angles show that the vehicle appears to be turning away from a federal officer as he opened fire.

one of the purely self-interested, selfish even, reasons to not be racist, misogynist, etc is that it makes you stupid and robs you of your dignity

bigotry rots your mind, body, and soul, turning you a zombified husk or seething loser
It’s obviously not like, the worst thing about racism, but it’s so demeaning how dumb and obvious this shit it. “Yeah here’s some slander about black people, you dumb fucking hogs love this shit, huh. chase the ball you little piggies”

Cory is one of my favorite people in the whole world, and among the top intellectual influences on me and my work. I've never met his mom, but she's responsible for a remarkable son, so help her out.

Ugh, does anyone know if geriatric billionaires are still hiring nubile young boys to pre-chew their food for them? Just trying to make a buck.

There are many lines that stood out to me while reading "Did The Science Wars Take Place?" (my physical copy is already dog-eared and full of highlighter ink), but I feel this hints at something I've been trying to articulate for a while as an artist.

Gillis operates on such a level I know I'm never likely to fully grasp him on the first read. Yet taking the time over his work has never failed to blow my tiny mind. This book is no exception. It's so useful as to be essential and deeply personal to boot. Read it. Re-read it. Then read it again.
Hey, I wrote a book.

Did The Science Wars Take Place?

Covers the history and philosophy of a fight in the 80s & 90s between some postmodernists and scientists, with an eye to anarchist interests and lasting political influences among the far-right.

I really fucking hate all the Memorial Day "died defending our freedom" bullshit. There hasn't been a US war in my lifetime that was about freedom. And even WWII was entered *primarily* for economic and geopolitical reasons, not freedom.

"Though the forces of power have always sought to bury our struggle, the words we write and the fragments of memory we pass down to future generations are (and have always been) the seeds from which liberty is grown."
