Ah, shit, you’re right. It’s because they’ve historically never evicted anyone until at least Day 15 on the classic format. (Meanwhile, the shitty 7 format would evict anywhere from 3 to 4 people the first week…)

In fairness, the first eviction when the show was on Nine was also really bad. Sonia and Charne were both standing on the stage, and it was just awkward and weird.

I think it might be partially because Seven was being really petty with relinquishing the rights to the show back to 10. Had they not done that, we'd probably have the house back where it was, and the old auditorium would have been rebuilt.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to have an outdoor set for #BBAU clearly is not from Southern Queensland! That, and they didn't watch the launch of Season 3: it was an absolute downpour for the launch of that season!

And that's why there needs to be an airlock to that room. That, or there needs to be a separate corridor to access the Diary Room.
