So while there is some tiny % of people who may genuinely like him, the extremely low number here seems obvious and there's a small part of me that takes slight comfort in knowing that maybe, just maybe, he has already realized this or will some day come to realize this and it has or will crush him.

So what of the remaining 25%? These people don't like him either but they *do* like their ability to profit/benefit from him. These are the wealthy, the connected, the power-hungry, fellow narcissists or those simply devoid of a moral compass. His open corruption is simply a good opportunity.

They'll say "he's bringing sanity back to America" (this often being an overreaction to identity politics or a dog whistle for their hatred/discomfort for/with those who are different than them). Yet he actually, verifiably, brings chaos, unpredictability, corruption, and unabashed narcissism.

If you brave the MAGAverse and talk to folks therein, asking them what they like about him, you'll hear things like "he tells it like it is" yet the vast majority of what he says is objective, verifiable lying.

We are in the absolute dumbest timeline right now:

- Institute blanket tarrifs on almost everything
- Inflict higher prices on consumers as the tariff, which is PAID BY THE US BUSINESS DOING THE IMPORTING, passes those costs on to us
- Prices increase
- Institute specific exemptions
- "I fixed it"

I would expect nothing less from the fine work those at The Onion do than to include a prerequisite to subscription such as this.

It's almost as if better means developed over the last couple decades to detect things like autism across a vast spectrum has led to an obvious and predictable increase in numbers. I'm no statistician but I think that's how counting works when the thing you're counting becomes better understood....

Honestly, if they were to be used in this capacity permanently, I wouldn't be opposed. I doubt many would complain about them cleaning up garbage, emptying cans, and other beautification efforts. Seems it's the other highly illegal, fascist stuff that rubs folks the wrong way. Weird. /s

The projection is so thick. Fwiw, Lutnick, we agree with you: the crook does indeed say "I'm not going anywhere". Look inward and nearby, Howard. You're so close. /r/selfawarewolves
