Same here. Just put a roll through a Yashica point and shoot but no rechargeable batteries available for them anymore. Hate pulling out a camera and the batteries are dead.

This guy just hangs out in my backpack and always has a roll of B&W in it. I don’t love the lens but it works. I don’t have to worry about batteries really except for the flash. But I’m always looking for a replacement backpack camera. This might do it.
