I took a small bit of Mint inside back in the early fall. Last year the mint died, so I wanted to keep it alive for 2026.

It's, uh, thriving. And I love it. The room smells very softly of mint, now, and I get to trim mint to dry for tea almost every two weeks!

Its insanely fun to braid.
My Mint Monster, grown from a small bit of mint. A good example of why keeping mint secure is important. When I have mint outside, it'll be inside a raised pot with no access to the ground. Ive already got blackberry to deal with... One of the longer than my arms mint tendrils, which I have been braiding. A monster of a braid from several tendrils. Don't ask why, I'm just seeing what this looks like later on. The top of the mint. Ive strung up some tendrils along a vertical metal bar, and will continue to let it consume the space. More mint for me.

I finished harvesting ny first ever Cannabis plant. In Canada, we are allowed to grow up to four per household.

The tiny crystals you see here is the THC, the reason to consume the plant.

It may be cold outside, but it's warm inside my heart! ✌️ ☮️

Still a work in progress, this artwork displays my white kitchen stove, with two pots of soup and an empty yellowish orange bowl. Ive yet to finish the soup pots, but the central bowl is coming along well, I think. The start, sketched from a photo I had taken the night earlier. I used orange as a wash to start, and HB leaded pencil for shading initially. The stove with some parts still not done. Central bowl is barely touched! Coming along well now, you can see the central bowl start as compared to the first image in this post. I think the shading is coming along nicely.

Ice along the inside of the windows. Brr. It's around -16c currently. Was -18... The crows were all huddled on the fence, some with their beaks covered in snow. There are two dishes with birdseed out there, somewhere, in the snow.

Moved the indoor Sweet-Pea to the stairwell window. Hoping for some flowers over the winter, but we shall see.

It has been trending colder - the cat and I need to snuggle a lot. She is always a fan when we light a fire in the morning.
