He did tbf pick up loads of minority voters. But amongst white voters, looks like status quo from the primary

May very well still be true.
“Mostly white residents” in the primary is very different from the general. There’s a lot of SI and south Brooklyn votes added to that general population. Coming from a Greenpoint resident.

What’s that P/E function?

1. If we’re already subsidizing 3/4 of the cost, is it really that inefficient to subsidize the last 1/4?
2. I’ve been pretty surprised at how effective congestion pricing has been despite the modest price. Feels like people just love free (and hate not). It’s a lot easier to explain than fair fares

This is pretty much where I’m at, but I wouldn’t be so Zohran-skeptical. He’s making inroads in the left-liberal alliance and deserves credit for it. That’s our lane to success moving forward. Much better to try and potentially fail with him than to guarantee status quo decline with Cuomo.

I think “people who know better” gives them undeserved benefit of the doubt. This is their policy through and through.

“Legalize windows”?

Biggest things missing are the high line and inverted full backs. Too much space to cover between front and back lines. Impossible task for any midfielder and the mistimed pressing triggers makes it worse.

I agree, but we need to be adding stars and starters faster than we lose them to age and attrition. Being understaffed increases attrition. The more spots we need to fill, the more desperate we make ourselves. Paying up now bc we’re desperate is bad, but not paying up makes next window worse.
