The fact that we're always offered two terrible choices, told that it's only a binary choice because nobody will tell us about other options (forcing minor parties to run as write-ins and excluding them from media coverage and debates) should tell you that we don't have a democracy.

If your only focus is on removing Trump without addressing the conditions that allowed him to win twice, you're only dooming us to more and worse Trumps in the future. Trump is a symptom of capitalist rot, not the root problem. If there's a hole in your gas tank, your problem isn't having no gas.

My take is that if you have a hold in your gas tank, being out of gas isn't THE problem. It's a symptom of the problem. Just like Trump is a system of the rot of capitalism.

Focusing on Trump without addressing the conditions that allowed Trump to gain power will only result in more and worse Trumps in the near future. The fact that Biden did nothing to address the conditions that gave rise to Trump and handed power back over to him should alert you to this basic fact.
