Had the rare and incredible privilege of working with him on adaptation of Harlan Ellison's The Discarded. He was a joy to be around. Had breakfast with him one morning, and a lovely conversation about science fiction.

Warren Zanes’ book is amazing, and I could not possibly conceive of how to turn something so internal into a movie, but Scott Cooper pulled it off and then some. Deliver Me From Nowhere is a stunning piece of work. I absolutely loved it.
