I’ll read your pieces when time allows ASAP but can you say in a nutshell what you would advise HMG to do instead to address the issues of terrorist, CSAM, age-inappropriate for children etc etc content on platforms?

That’s not what I said. I agree some kids can/will do that. I’m questioning the claim this will do next to nothing to help kids and that the evidence for that is bcos some kids will steal their parents’ ID. Do you believe that this policy will do nothing to help children? And if so, how come?

Have you got the evidence to prove that? Are you saying that this policy introduces *no* obstacles sufficient to stop children accessing porn? And that this proves that the policy will *do nothing* to help children?

How do you know it will do nothing for kids? What will it do and what will it not do?

Sounds like worsening life-quality for people already getting poorer while life stays sweet for the 1%. The bold action here is going after excessive wealth (knowing the rich will still stay rich), not taking more from those with ordinary lives. You can try both but the former has to be priority.

Ok but which taxes, at what rates, how much of a rise etc? And what are the tax rises on the ultra-rich who avoid tax as a habit, that make the rises on middle-income earners (now feeling the pinch) more reasonable? This feels like an easy position to take without providing sufficient detail.
