The expectation is grandiose dialogue and narration from writer Jason Aaron. He absolutely delivers. Artist Aaron Kuder gives us engaging fight scenes with interesting page layouts and huge splash pages. Jesus Aburtov’s colors pop right off the page. You should definitely check this issue out.

This issue is a one and done story. Guggenheim gets us in and out of the exposition scenes quickly. I love the way artist Madibek Musabekov portrays a younger Count Dooku. The sequences of lightsaber battles are nothing short of beautiful. This issue gives Star Wars fans the action they love.

Writer Joshua Williamson does a very good job of establishing each character’s personalities and specialties. The art by Tom Reilly goes a long way towards keeping the reader engaged. I really enjoyed the work of colorist Jordie Bellaire as well. Go grab a copy of this.

Issue 21 of Conan the Barbarian is a perfect jumping on point as it starts a new storyline. Writer Jim Zub continues to show his mastery of the character. The art by Fernando Dagnino is beautiful through out. I highly recommend picking this issue up. I also recommend the entire run.
