What, Me Worry?
Reviving up the chopper to head up in the air and rain some birds down on poor, unsuspecting Les Nessman. “As G-d is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly….Ohhh the humanity!”

Every year, I tell myself maybe this time I won't watch 9/11 Remembrance reading-of-the-names. And every year, I simply have to turn on tv for part of it. One day, not too far in grand scheme of things, there’s gonna be senior citizens calling out names & talking about Mom or Dad they lost as a kid

Alan Cumming is so extraordinarily talented. Simply had to see him at The Basie. Whether as the Emcee in Cabaret, Eli Gold in The Good Wife, Nightcrawler in X-Men or Boris in Goldeneye….he’s portrayed some of my favorite characters in some of my favorite pieces of art on stage or screens big & small

1st preseason home @newyorkgiants.bsky.social game for this new era. As always, rooting for no injuries. And to see the new faces (Russell Wilson, Paulson Adebo, etc) and rookies (Abdul Carter, Jaxson Dart, Marcus Mbow, etc). Most of all, always special to be here with Dad.

I’m 47 years old. And my Dad today surprised me and bought me astronaut ice cream at the National Air & Space Museum like when Ronald Reagan was in the White House.

1st Somerset Patriots game….caught a buncha Mets top prospects w Rumble Ponies in town. Ryan Clifford homered to dead center. Jett Williams went 3-4, 3R, 3SB. Split household - Mets (1 kid & me), Yankees (Wife & 1 kid) & Both (Another Kid). I also ate more hot dogs than cumulatively last 3 years

I saw both “Schindler’s List” and “Encino Man” in packed theaters as a teenager. Who would thunk it…both movies featured the same number of multiple Oscar-winning actors.

Driving through Freehold. Right down Main Street. I flip the dial over to E Street Radio from WFAN… and it’s a live recording of “My Hometown” playing.

Hard to beat a Summer Day at the ballpark. Especially with the @mets.com leading from the jump with the leadoff homer by Nimmo. Also a dinger of an Alonso blast. Keeping the tradition alive with Bondi. Let’s Go Mets!

Whoever decided to drop the final episodes of Squid Game the same weekend as Bruce Springsteen Tracks II sure didn’t make it easy having my sleep in mind….(and yes I’m aware I’m posting this at 2:36 am - having succeeded on both fronts)

“Every single Democrat, running for governor or not, should be hollering from now until Election Day about the Trump-Musk economic chaos & Trump tariffs that are really just Trump-imposed tax on every single New Jerseyan”said Joshua Henne, a Dem political consultant

Taking on Donald Trump has become a requirement in the Democratic primary for N.J. governor
The six Democratic candidates for New Jersey governor can’t escape talking about President Donald Trump.

80 yrs ago today, American forces liberated Buchenwald concentration camp. Among survivors was Elie Wiesel. Dad & I saw him speak several times at @92ndstreety.bsky.social And here is a photo from when I got to spend some one-on-one time with Elie Wiesel at Emory University in the late 90’s.

Extraordinarily special, soothing and just feels right….hearing Sam Rosen & JD call one final New York Rangers game together. The way it should be. Oh baby…

My personal lobbyist and me….waiting for our meeting at the The White House. Flat Stanley is about as qualified on economic policy as a lot of the folks crafting it on the other side of this lawn.

Val Kilmer is one of my favorite actors. He inhabited a whole bunch of my roles in some of my favorite flicks by some of my favorite filmmakers. Bummed I never got to see him perform live as Mark Twain. Unique talent. And sad to hear of his passing.

My brain is broken after two seasons of Severance. Not from the show. But from every episode having to explain to my wife who is an Innie vs an Outtie, the Eagans, Kier lore, Lumon and how the procedures works. She sure does love Mr. Milchick, his big words and his dance moves, though.
