Thank you! Tbh I'm trying to think of other dark consciousness computer inspo. Maybe the game SOMA if you haven't played/watched it. In 40k the Forge of Mars trilogy gets heavy into computer-conciousness ideas too. Tho to be fair 40k is a beast to get into

In the case of this one I've always loved how these dark symbols/runes are described as being painful to look at or causing people's minds to shatter if they look at them too long. Plus I wanted to show it from the POV of a cult that treats it as a divine revelation (even tho it's terrifying)

Thank you!! Yep this is another 40k thing. Usually for these animations there is some idea in 40k I'm interested in or have read about or I think is cool but not really focused on. So I then try and see if I can make something as I've imagined it from a description or somesuch.
