Our church uses a translation of the Nicene Creed that goes with “Almighty maker” instead of “Almighty, maker.” And I’ve never seen that before. Because it’s wrong/typo, right?

On the hunt for something to make my old 1940s Craftsman 113 8-inch Table Saw a bit safer to use. I know I can find some old guard assemblies on EBay but I’m wondering if there are other options? Etsy, aftermarket, DIY. Thoughts?

What’s your “desert island (English) Bible”? What’s the 1 Bible you’d take with you to church (or the island lol)? I think mine’s the leather RSV New Oxford Annotated Bible. Wish I could take the content of the New Interpreter’s Study Bible and put it in a slightly smaller leather package. ⚓️🕯️

I went from Zepbound 12.5mg to “I’m off Zepbound for two weeks due to insurance issues” to 15mg and, hoo boy, it’s been an interesting past couple days. Stomach just feels…off. Having to remind myself “No, you’re not anxious/dreading something. It’s the meds!”

Church website question: I’ve recommended Squarespace before for even small churches that want to prioritize ease of maintenance. But it’s been a couple years since I last touched it and helped a church build and maintain a website on it. Is it still a good rec? ⚓️🕯️
