I joined Makeswift in 2022 as the 3rd employee. I got to build a ton of stuff and had the privilege of being around some amazing people. This was my first startup (of many 😈) to have a successful exit, and i'm proud of what we got to build!

Small update on 42colors.com — I created a tool for admins to help keep the canvas _family friendly_.
Normally, when you claim a piece of the canvas, you have exclusive rights to drawing in that area, but with this new toggle admins able to override that.

Pretty excited about typetheword.site recently. I stepped back from the project this year, but it's continued to grow.
Last month there were over 200 signups and 43k verses typed, and it's now #1 for multiple google search queries. PTL!

On Type the Word, despite the simple CRUDish functionality, I'm seeing a pretty big drop in request time!

I was able to create the line tool in 42colors in less than two hours.
When the primitives you've been polishing are designed well enough so you can ackchyually reassemble them to ship super quickly... feels good man

I created 42colors.com with the idea that constraints can be fun. It's a great creative prompt to see what you can draw with just 42 colors. But in a world with limited color options, the shape of your art board is one of the things I want you to be able to customize.
