Wasn’t gonna watch anymore but paramount plus auto played into search for Spock and I’ve got time so fuck it let’s go

Oh without a doubt. It’s still great overall, and every Star Trek series has some stinkers. I’m not well versed enough in other 60s shows to speak on it, but it does say something for the series that it was over 30 years before I was born and i was still drawn to it and loved it.

I will say that the downfall of TOS for me is that the bad episodes are like. Really bad. And of course a product of their time even through the progressive ideas showcased. That being said though the great episodes are some of the best television of all time so I suppose it balances out.

Important to note that I just watched balance of terror so I don’t know if they all are like that and it could be that Mark Lenard is just That Good. Also I have a strong personal belief that Star Trek should always feel like some sort of stage play so that sways me.
