Just reading about this absolute bonfire from ULTH. Would love to know @alisonleary1.bsky.social’s opinion on registered nurses working at b3 level yet NMC advising them that they will have to step out of their HCA roll if required.

Called back and pressed the option for them to ring me back when I get to the front of the queue. You get a text that allows you to actually see where you are in the queue. I live 200m away from the surgery, if I was well enough I’d just walk down.

Still not recovered from Chappell Roan and LCD Soundsystem last night. One of those evenings that is more than music and is an almost joyful religious experience.

Today may be my greatest WFH day ever. My back is killing, my work doesn’t have confidential info up, so am working at a better desk shared with my husband and the cat has joined us on the desk in a little bed! All days at work should come with a cat!

In the interest of science, I have conducted a ranking test of martinis as I am never sure which I like best. The final rankings are:
4th- dirty martini with gin
3rd- vodka martini and lemon garnish
2nd- dirty martini with vodka
1st- gin martini and lemon garnish. (Each approx 10ml & not finished.)
4th- dirty martini with gin
3rd- vodka martini and lemon garnish
2nd- dirty martini with vodka

This year we are hosting Christmas, and I’ve made my Yorkshire’s today so I can freeze and just reheat on the day. 12 year old declared them “s tier”. Some of them are over 4” high!

I had an absolutely wonderful evening at Letters Live @lettersofnote.com at the Royal Albert Hall last night. We laughed and cried and I only took one blurry picture all night.

Not saying we have a pampered cat, but this gentleman stood next to the electric blanket and squawked until it was switched on. Husband said it was ok because he’s only put it on a low setting.

How can this be legal? I am pricing up flights to Barcelona and spotted this. Seats on the exact same flight, Iberia clearly marking that it’s a Vueling plane.
