in my house we’ve been watching the Ken Burns country music doc (slowly over months), and I learned that yodeling was one of the first markers of the genre!

I’m screening the 1931 version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde for class tonight, and the print (borrowed from the LOC who got it from the BBC) has 2 1/2 minutes missing. Excited to see whether they’re censor cuts and if they’re the scenes that I think they are!

I've given blue book exams in some classes for years. I usually give out essay questions in advance and let them bring a notecard, but I'm not sure whether I'll keep doing it...I have to admit that AI may have ruined that for everyone
