An in-progress photo of the Christmas Red poinsettia flower before the yellow center helped stitch in the leaves. Rounds 1 (6 petals) and 2 (3 petals) worked separately and laid on top of each other. The first round of six Christmas Red leaves for the poinsettia flower.

#christmas #present I made as a surprise for my parents. They did not know I had taken up #shuttletatting in honor of my grandma, so it was extra special. The edging is the pattern my grandma made the most, after she was diagnosed with macular degeneration. #tatting #lace #handmade #crafts 🧶 🧵
