Institutions can veil themselves in the cloak of anonymity that the name of an institution (Columbia, etc., etc.) provides. We only have our own names. Power to the people.✊

Does he think those little granny glasses on the end of his nose make him look like a kinder, gentler man? Thank you Radley Balko for those quotes; I remember what he said within the last few months, too. Gaslighting jerk and crook--I also remember the CAVA bag full of cash.

I like her very much, but I like Mr. Rogers more. He sang it for love, the best reason. That dear man was a model for us all.

Quite significant that he declines to acknowledge the "renaming." Good for him!

Interesting to see all the goons' faces for a hot minute behind this liar. 🤮

My daughter bought me this book for my birthday in hardcover in May. As a student and then a Village resident for most of the years from 1966 through the early '80s, this book captures what made the Voice the newspaper of record for that era. A fantastic read. Thanks for your great work!

I am quite sick of seeing that face on this platform. However, this one is sufficiently ugly. Let's keep up that good work.

Most assuredly. Does not make any sense that she is actually a human.

Please, cut this murderer to ribbons. He deserves every slice.

One governor is an outsize narcissist. The other seems to be well endowed with compassion. Probably both are helpful to bring resistance forward a few steps. We need all the help we can get.

The magazine is a great indulgence but it gives me hope for a better world.

Um, dude. Infraction, you say? Just look closely at this loser, hiding his useless right hand. Have some water, buddy.

We must do what must be done. Lincoln eventually tired of that jerk.

Hard agree. To believe there is nothing we can do is cowardice. We have to fight in whatever way we can.

omg I love this.

Trains are the best way to go. I have always loved them, and I love Amtrak. Wish they covered more of our country.

Just a me too. Thanks for this post. Crows are wise friends.

Very interesting, no?

Cats know. One door closes and another opens. Tikka is watching from afar. Congratulations on your new friend.

Next time, anyone who resists needs a posse. If she hadn't been such a rugged individualist and third party voter, and realized that we resisters must hang together she'd know that folks need to link arms so the staters would have had a much more difficult time extracting her from the auditorium.
