“The worst city in the world.”

This is the symbol of the Iron Front, an anti-fascist organization that opposed the Nazi Party in Germany during the 1930s. The symbol, three arrows pointing downward and left inside a circle, is still used to represent anti-fascist sentiment and resistance to hate groups.

Not discounting the power of small, local protests that are happening daily, but I’ve seen nothing about the next nationwide mass protest. We should be doing it monthly at the very least. Our complacency will be our undoing.

Could this possibly be true, or is it a wishful thinking BS conspiracy theory?

Protests don’t work (is what I hear from people who don’t do it). We can thwart authoritarianism if we rise up together. If everyone who normally attends brings one person who never does, our dissent will be noticed both here and worldwide. Find your meeting point here.

A European’s perspective on our situation: In Europe, when enough people want to be heard, they stop work and take to the streets again and again, day after day. And they do it for lesser causes. It’s hard to understand why Americans aren’t doing the same. What are you waiting for?

We’re being attacked by our own administration. Our rights, freedoms, financial stability, health, safety, and SO much more have been trashed. We
need to unite toward one common goal: impeachment.

I’m stunned that more people haven’t signed up for this. Resistance isn’t going to be convenient, or easy, or without sacrifice. But the result of doing nothing will be far worse. Rise up!
