I've considered subjecting myself to unspeakable horrors (6 other horror movies) because I feel like a fraud whenever I talk about this stuff without having excruciating context but I don't have the time

I wasn't a fan of Akira or Ghost in the Shell the first time I watched them. I thought they were both very pretty but I lacked the ability to understand their stories.
I've been on a bit of a transhumanism kick recently and I'm thinking it might be a good time to revisit them

in continuing my Masaaki Yuasa journey I finished watching 'Kaiba' (2008) yesterday it was great honestly there aren't many anime quite like it (though I've seen a few try)

Gridman is so much better than Darling in the Franxx its not even funny. I say this as an avid Franxx defender please watch Gridman that series is so incredibly peak

I think the perfect indicator of my personal taste when it comes to media is my preference in Ghibli food. Of all the absolutely beautiful food Ghibli has included in their movies the one that stick out to me is the cup of coffee given to Kiki in Kiki's delivery service

In reality I will never know what it is like to have sleeper agent phrase enter my sub conscience but I imagine it sounds a lot like hearing "are you awake -- well I guess you are now" 5 minute before my alarm goes off
