people want to support you because they like you, your messages, your art, ect. i would support you financially too if i could. those that can, do. its not a bad thing but i can understand why it feels odd. many people cant do much in their own communities so they amplify someone who does do good

people paid you because they wanted to but sometimes it can still feel like you "haven't earned it" because thats the kind of environment capitalism has fostered, creating a world where having money feels like a moral dilemma because its not something everyone has access to

no you're right. you give me the courage more and more every day to start my own art account as a POC furry who hasnt done so due to feeling isolated even within such a unique and supporting community. what you have to say has also made me examine my own biases, i hope it odes the same for others
