Third bowl in this series. This one is wider and shallower, and has black and a pinkish-purple glaze, both of them glossy. They overlap to give an interesting gray, which I didn't expect! I tried these colors quite on a whim, but I really like how it turned out.

Second bowl in this "series" (though I didn't actually make them as a series). This one has two overlapping colors - the deep glossy blue and white. The speckles in the white are in the clay, not the glaze. The two glazes interact in a wonderful rich blue with some lighter highlights, I love it!

He's supposed to be gray! But glazes are kind of unpredictable. I know he's a GBH, though, 'cause I made him! 😀

I love it! I have a polar bear (sculpture) like that - for a moment I was confused and thought this was some photo I'd posted at some point! It's great.

3. Call your elected representatives EVERY DAY to voice your opinions. To make this easy, visit 5calls.org - they list many issues you could call about, give you talking points on each issue, and give you the names and phone numbers of your elected officials to call. Easy Peasy.

2. If you can, send money to organizations that are filing lawsuits, helping immigrants, or in any other way fighting against the destruction of our democracy and nazification of our country. The ACLU is always a good idea, but you can find lots of other organizations to support with google.

That's what we are calling it here, too - a coup.

It's a little bit finicky! And I realized after the first piece (not this one) that I had to make the triangles on the two sheets different sizes to get the to line up right in the woven part, because of the bending in the warp paper in order to fit around the weft paper.
