I absolutely agree. I think this is a significant reason for the lack of cognitive ability to assess risk.

I am too and by a few doctors who snicker at us. One of my specialists thinks he has LC and doesn't mask. I suggested he consider masking and sure hope he does. I suspect they're being gaslit too, peer pressure, etc but huge respect for those who do.

I wonder if it's that they trust public health messaging and see most HCW and GP's not masking. We're seniors. We mask as diligently as we always have as well as using other precautions. It's tough like it is for others but the health of others and our health keeps us motivated.
