Trump is off the charts corrupt, but he is getting away with it because the media, while reporting it on the back pages and moving on, are consciously choosing to not make Trump's corruption a narrative in the same vein as Hillary's emails or Biden's age.

The Trump economic team does not understand that we have a trade surplus when you factor in services (all advanced countries are mostly service economies), does not understand global supply chains or how our post-WW2 global credibility and moral leadership is essential to our economic strength.

Yes, but the partisanship it is far, far more pronounced on the Republican side. The Dems are very close to the independents view, while the Republicans are not. That tells you all you need to know.

MAGA has no idea what soft power is and how intangibles like credibility and being the leader of the free Western World is so integral to our economy. Many on Wall Street know, but didn't think it through. They wanted their tax cuts and deregulation without thinking of the broader repercussions.
