Not sure if @americanair.bsky.social at ORD is incompetent, dishonest, or both. Yesterday flight cancelled no explanation. Today? Delayed from start, delay extended, gate changed right before pre-board… the monitors are full of delayed, cancelled flights. But I won’t make this mistake again.

I just can’t be any happier for Borgen. Killer contract, couple of goals with the Rangers. And equally happy Kakko feels at home here.

I’ve had the opportunity to “help” twice in the last 3 weeks. Just after Tgiving chased a lady down in a parking lot who left $40 cash back in a self-checkout machine. Today turned in a dropped DL (and later alerted the person as to where I left it) at SeaTac. Feels good to change fate!

The Southworth fast ferry has been a great way to make a quick overnight trip to Seattle for a Kraken game. 24 hour parking for $5. $2 fare. And I have the entire boat to myself… the early morning return trip might actually have closer to 10 passengers.

We aren’t watching the @seattlekraken.com game (currently in Canada just walking around Victoria) but was this game a lack of overall defense or a Grubauer downfall (or both?)

It’s weird being in the shadow of the bomb cyclone. The largest gust recorded at the house (Seabeck) so far is 9.6 mph at around 7:45pm. Sustained wind a whopping 1-3 mph. We show 998.69mb (still falling). If you want to follow our station is KWASEABE33 on Weather Underground.

Highly recommend taking a CV Firebirds road-trip to Abbotsford next year if you can swing it. Lovely area with friendly people. Abbotsford Centre is a great hockey venue- we stayed in Surrey (35 min away). Didn’t hurt that they won both games- but it’s been an all-around great weekend!

Not sure what the technical term is for this hockey stat- but so far, at the end of the first Firebirds are shooting 100%.
