Great to hear from @RichiH that the default #fosdem network next year will be v6-only (with no-NAT), so services like Github that only support legacy IP will just fail to work (unless they fix it…)

@quixoticgeek what’s the odds the bank app server and the banks internal systems rely on AWS/GCE/Cloudflare/Fastly or a million other US centric services anyway

And now they say it’s going to be down overnight. This is our first non-overnight/non-blip outage I think (in about 9 months) but it’s a lot longer than almost that we had with copper broadband (still would never go back!)

Hopefully the engineers will sort it overnight and it’s not too horrible […]
