It's 100% social, anti-tech, anti-billionaire (I'm on board there!). Although billionaires and tech-heads are throwing A.I. in everyone's faces, whereas the meat industry has cultivated its image (and hidden it) for decades. It is a shrink-wrapped convenient package of pre-minced beef to most of us.

Sorry about people giving you a hard time for asking them to try a thing, use empiricism, as if you are a drug dealer offering the first one for free or something. They genuinely cannot see the difference between "you have to see it to understand it" and "I wholeheartedly advocate for this!".

Free textbooks do have an effect but free online classes really didn't. Online classes do take resources to manage, which is not sustainable for $0 tuition or funding.

I was going to say tulips (maybe a bit cheekily) but it doesn't really fit in terms of infrastructure and promises. I mean, it kind of days in the way that any bubble does. Maybe that is my main takeaway, Every bubble has to be a bit different because the promises are always a bit different.
