As the years pass, the better I understand grief and all its nuances.

And I wonder, if we sit long enough with our feelings, will grief be the dominant colour that emerges? Is that why the world is broken? Grief inevitably keeps being passed on from one generation to the next one.

No one has it all together. No one is fully in control.
We are all struggling somewhere. Some of us are dealing with uncertainty, some are managing their anxiety, some are adapting to a new reality, some are trying their hardest with whatever’s given, with whatever’s left.

I admire friends and people who share about their journey honestly—not just about their mountain tops, but also, especially, about their struggle and what they go through.

The world is truly not doing okay.
Everyone is struggling somewhere, to quote Ps. Steven.

Liking Six Feet Under because it’s hard to watch. And it’s hard to watch because you feel confronted by something that is so close to your reality: family and their dysfunctions (and how it’s hard to step away from it).

Trying out YouTube Premium because of the free trial for the very first time.

Wow, watching content without ads interrupting is… ✨a whole other level ✨

Watching “I’m Tim” documentary makes me feel so sad and I don’t even like EDM music to begin with.

How can someone who had a promising & bright future come to believe that life is not worth living anymore? He was so loved by his family & fans and could have stopped producing music had he wished so.

Trying out Six Feet Under this evening and so far really liking the pilot episode. I wondered, I laughed, I cried all throughout the first 45 minutes. So good.

And like I said, they don’t make this kind of TV shows anymore these days.

Some of my “comfort” shows - the ones I could fall back onto whenever I feel down/overwhelmed/sad:
* Law and Order / Law and Order: SVU
* CSI (keep (re)watching the old episodes)
* The Mentalist
* Criminal Minds
* Rizzoli & Isles
* NCIS
* 911 / 911 Lone Ranger
* White Collar
* Monk

Made a good decision by watching Dexter the series after getting intrigued by Dexter:Original Sin.

As I said before, these days they no longer make a TV series like they did in the 1990s-2010s. The formula is there, but it’s hard to replicate authentically.
