In my daily search for the comics in the print edition of @stltoday.com I notice there is still an "Everyday" section, but it is printed only one day each week. Hmm?

My favorite part of camping: sitting by the fire, under a sky full of stars.
Everyone else’s favorite part: turning their campsite into a runway and then going inside for the night.

I like to imagine what the people who built this cool building in #STL would think if they came back from the dead and saw it now.

In "Total Eclipse of the Heart" Bonnie Tyler sings, "Turn around, bright eyes." Every time I hear it I can't help but think she's singing about Taylor from the original "Planet of the Apes." That was Zira's nickname for him before he regained his voice. #PotA

My parents first took me on the Moonlight Ramble in #STL when I was about 10 years old. I thought it was magical. In the good ol' days it started at 12:01 a.m. Now it starts at 10:00 p.m. It's just not the same.

#AI success story: I need a really good book to read. I told #ChatGPT my favorite genres, my five favorite books and some authors I consistently like, and asked for a recommendation. It gave me several very promising titles, and not surprisingly, a few that I've previously read and really enjoyed

I fear the decision to move printing of @stltoday.com Post-Dispatch 100 miles away will turn out to be the final nail. I would rather have the paper delivered at 9am than have it devoid of evening news. The absence of the mayoral election result on the front page is just sad.

I just renamed 20 of the 75 podcasts I follow to remove the word "The" as the first word of the title. Now they will alphabetize themselves into a more intuitive order.

The weather forecast for our camping trip scheduled for Tuesday is terrible! We looked at some Illinois state parks for an alternate destination. But IL requires 3-4 days lead time to make a reservation. Missouri SPs have no such restriction, so we found a new campsite in our home state.
