African Elephants are my favorite land animal species, by far. During yesterday’s earthquake, my babies at the San Diego Zoo reacted to the quake, immediately protective of their most-vulnerable Community members. Humans could learn SO much from these beauties, if we’d just humble ourselves. 🐘🐘

Extremely sad to learn that William Finn has died. Falsettos has been my favorite musical since I first saw it when I was 14. No one else writes like him, and while I'm grateful for how much of his work we have, it's hard to believe there won't be any more.

The labor union representing stagehands went on strike Sunday against Atlantic Theater Company in Manhattan, prompting the nonprofit to postpone two productions that had begun performances and to warn that union demands could force the closing of the Atlantic and other Off Broadway nonprofits.
