How about they spend some bleeping money? Bichette is the dream, Bregman would be great. But come on, this team signing Bichette would look like a force. And I say that as someone who LOVES Paredes. I think he’s a perfect fit but Bichette and Bregman are both better.

Contreras is a good pickup but man, why are they so terrified to sign a free agent? Bregman, Bichette, Alonso, they don’t seem even remotely interested in any of those guys who are so obviously perfect fits.

The big issue is he IS being treated normally. Someone needs to get in his face, call out the blatant lies, the jaw dropping rudeness and the general level of cruelty.

I’d move Mayer and Marte is probably worth it. But here’s an idea, get players without losing players. There’s this thing called free agency. The Sox give much money to Bo Bichette and he plays for them for many years AND they get to keep Mayer. Might work if the Sox were raking in money.

It’s as frustrating as it is bewildering. They would make so much more money by spending for an elite team than they are by cutting costs.

So that means no Bichette and likely no Bregman. A team with a crazy amount of young talent that should be one of the most exciting in baseball isn’t making a concerted effort to put the best team on the field they can?

Really starting to feel like they are going to get shutout again. Recent off seasons I could see the plan, with this core not getting it done will not be ok. I said to friends earlier I am feeling like Serrano in Major League and this is “f-you Jobu” time.

Being a Sox fan is quickly becoming like Serrano in Major League. At some point you feel like you are duped and say “f-you Jobu.” Recent years the off season made sense. If they get shutout this year it’s unacceptable.

When my father worked at Digital in the early 90s they had signs on the wall “reminding” employees to keep long distance calls short. This reminds me of that. When you are telling people to have fewer dolls and pencils you are expecting to have serious money issues soon.

I suspect he and Roger both shrug and laugh it off at this point. It’s a shame but the Hall is such a joke. Not sure how Selig, Larussa, Torre among others get in thanks in no small part to the work of those guys but then they and others obviously worthy are excluded.

It's so revealing that they see this as an argument. They are so unprincipled that nothing matters to them except winning. If AOC was a sex trafficker I'd want her imprisoned. I'm not sure why this should be difficult. It shouldn't be difficult to be against pedophilia.

I was at Keene State, same thing. Everyone just sitting around in shock. It’s amazing that he and so many others have been able to live normal lives.

8 seconds more per pitch (47 to 39) in 2018. It doesn't sound like a lot but that's 20% more and it would have added an hour and 20 minutes to this year's game.
