Yep...one of my friends has heard from a couple of young men that they befriended while in this country who are now back in Venezuela and they say its worse now. They even shared pics and video.

We usually go to the Rockfish Gap overlook. At some point I will get the courage to head up Afton Mountain to visit Swannanoa (the road up there is at the entrance to the Parkway). With my acrophobia its hard for me to go far on the parkway and I've only done Skyline once.

My husband's family lives in Waynesboro and we drive up there often.. .its spectacular.
