Interesting, I was not aware of this.
That said, I don't think we'll see this in Greenland as the situation is very different; the US is not in a situation where they are pulling out and get to keep a small bite.

The US will not get sovereignty over any small pockets, as this will require a change to the DK constitution.
What was "announced" is most likely just the 1951 agreement already in place.

There was only a flight track of the MRTT and the Challenger taking the photos. Could be more than 2 F35 in this journey.

Supplies would have to go around Canada, as they have reaffirmed an A5 response. This makes Greenland pretty hard to supply from the US.
