You may know this already, but that's a play on Town Musicians of Bremen, a Brothers Grimm story and a statue in Bremen, Germany. My son lived there for several years, and we saw the statue in person there. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Town_Mu...

Our thinking is that if it's not moldy, it's good! I just ate a few Twix bars "best before" 2019!

I appreciate your love for Hobson, but I was a lefty who loved to make diving catches, so Freddy Lynn was my guy!

it's been 40+ years, so I don't remember exactly, but it was either this house or one close by:

Not sure we did it that often, but we definitely went out of our way to walk by on our way home from school!

I grew up in Framingham, MA in the 70s & 80s. One of the highlights of my childhood was when Butch Hobson moved in about a mile away from my house.

Christa McAuliffe went to my high school. We watched it in Physics class with a nun who had taught her about 20 years earlier.

I did the same! COMPUTE! magazine. Prior to that, I had a Timex Sinclair *without* the tape recorder thing, so I had to leave the computer plugged in or I'd lose my game and have to type it in again!

I don't remember the name of the camp, but it was with Dick Whitmore on the campus of a college in Maine in the summer of '85 (I remember hearing "Money for Nothing" many times on the bus ride back to Massachusetts).

I was there in '84 or '85!

I think it's multiple different drugs that all do that?

My older brother had them both on 8-track! He was in high school, and I was like 10. I listened to them so much, I wore them out. He was pissed!

I guess you're just a "no guts, no glory" kind of guy. I'm a bit more cautious. We'll just have to see how your hunch plays out to truly judge your decision.

I don't know, Mike. That's a bold move switching from the QB who finished your 15-2 season? Seems risky.

I've been using "folks" as a more-inclusive version of "guys".

I follow you to see cat pics. You deliver! Why would I expect you to be interested in my (infrequent) posts about programming? The one time I @ you with a 50+ year-old cat pic, you commented on it! What more could anyone want from you????

Oooooh! I forgot! I actually had a Vic 20, too! That was after the Sinclair, before the TI.
