I'm thankful that I lack an internal monologue; it would probably be ruthlessly critical.
I'm even more thankful for friends and family who near-constantly fend off my insecurities and worth-doubts.

I've returned to Bluesky. I had some health issues, am now recovering from a minor-to-medium surgery, and other life stuff got in the way of a lot social-media interaction. Did you miss me?

New Rx started yesterday, boom! - likely side-effect. Contacted Dr. (Far away) "Go to Urgent Care - could be serious." Went, closed 'til 3/10. Went to my PCP clinic, nurse triaged, said "Go to ER - could be serious." Went to ER, got poked and prodded, "See your PCP ASAP." Made appt for 3/6. Fun!

My (rare) insomnia took me on a ride last night. Starting with pi, we visited the Basel problem, then to the zeta function and Ramanujan summation, with several side quests. I’m not the sharpest bulb in the dog-team, but I suspect this is not a common response to untimely wakefulness.

Last year, I (finally) got an "aluminum" (shiny plastic) tree. I had wanted one since I was a child, but my aesthetics were considered inferior; others always demanded a "traditional" tree.

Today I'll do my last harp concert of the season. It's a solo gig at the county library. We're in for some stormy weather, and there hasn't been much publicity.
I'll have to move my harp and stuff between my car and the venue through wind and rain. Fun!
